President’s Message - 2026-2027
Dear Members of the Stuart Cameron McLeod Society,
I am honored and genuinely excited to serve as your President for the 2026–2027 year.
Stepping into this role means following in the footsteps of many remarkable past
presidents, and I am grateful to be counted among them. I am equally enthusiastic
about continuing to work alongside the Board of Governors and the Executive
Committee—individuals whose dedication and energy keep this Society thriving.
Over the past year, we have taken meaningful steps to revisit and reinvigorate the
mission of SCMS. Our focus has been on understanding how to keep that mission alive,
relevant, and impactful. This work is not possible without members like you. Your
engagement, your ideas, and your willingness to participate are what sustain this
Society. We are on a strong path forward, and our committees and task forces will
continue to build this momentum.
You will see SCMS reaching out more intentionally to current members, prospective
members, and the broader community. I hope you will consider joining us—whether by
attending our meetings, volunteering with our outreach efforts, or simply sharing your
thoughts on how we can better serve you.
To begin this year together, I look forward to welcoming you to Denver for a blend of
valuable CPE and genuine camaraderie. Please go to the SCMS website and get

SCMS is at its best when we are learning together, supporting one another, and
celebrating the unique community we’ve built. I am looking forward to all of this in the
